Flow First

Founded by Shadow Puppetz Co-Founder Tanya Armendariz in 2021, Flow First is a collective dedicated to building the waving community in Chicago through educational opportunities and events.

They host regular sessions and workshops, and have brought renowned waving artists such as Scotty “Distortion” Migz, Tommy Von Flowington, Damon Frost, Jesse Sykez, and Alexandra Filippidou to Chicago to teach and perform.

Gridlock

Co-founded by Lani “LaniLocks” Anderson, Marida Ianni-Ravn, Steve “Bearly Normal” Discont, and Shadow Puppetz members Alex “Prototype” Malblanc and Kevin Yu, Gridlock is a Chicago initiative dedicated to reviving the locking community.
